HelloID Fundamentals Training – Service Automation

Tools4ever offers HelloID Fundamentals training courses. These trainings aim to enable participants to gain more knowledge of HelloID Service Automation and also become certified in order to implement these modules.

Purpose of the training

These trainings are intended for individuals who will implement the HelloID Service Automation module. The aim of the training is to gain knowledge on how to implement the module via best-practice from Tools4ever.

The training consists of 2 parts divided over 2 days.

Day 1: Management. The first day covers the set-up and operation of the Service Automation module as delivered by default. This day is more suitable for setting up and managing SA.
Day 2: Powershell. The second day covers the use of Powershell integrations to enable Service Automation to perform more (custom) tasks towards target systems. This day is intended for people who want to work with Powershell themselves to realise extensions to SA.

Registration can be for both days or just day 1, depending on interest in Powershell integrations.

Participants attending this training will receive the HelloID Service Automation Fundamentals badge as proof of attendance. After the training, the participant can be designated as a certified HelloID Service Automation Implementer by passing the corresponding exam.

Free remote training

To make the training accessible, it will be delivered via Microsoft Teams and will be completely free of charge. You will receive an invitation in the week prior to the training.

*For day 2, the focus will be on Powershell connectors, the assumption is that day 2 participants have sufficient Powershell knowledge to be able to write their own scripts in Powershell.

What we expect from participants:

Basic knowledge of Self-Service concepts
Experience with Active Directory and Windows Server
An own VM with a local AD and internet access to connect to, the participant can therefore keep this after the training.
Own laptop to access the training environment
Powershell knowledge or experience for day 2 is a MUST and knowledge of JavaScript is a PRÉ
